Just veiwed the comments I made on an older piece and DEAR. JESUS. WHAT WAS I THINKING WHEN I TYPED THAT CRAP. When I first joined deviantart I found that I needed to be and act like someone I wasn't to fit in (kawaii desu bullshit, even though I wasn't and still really am not into anime). It affected my art, my "style", and my progress. That was several years ago, and while my usage of the site has somewhat lessened I can now see through the bullshit to what this site truly can be and is capable of doing for people. I've matured so much (at least I think) and it shows.
